Welcome to my Master's showcase that opens this week.
WHAT WE HOLD ON TO
Curated by Cressa McLaren.
This exhibition explores the emotional life of everyday domestic objects, things we carry with us that hold memory, evoke identity, and offer a sense of home. These objects might serve as vessels for stories of love, loss, joy, and displacement, connecting us to personal and collective identities.
Central to the display are 3D digital replicas I made of three objects from the Alasdair Gray Archive in Glasgow, where I undertook a ten-week curatorial placement. The Alasdair Gray Archive is a curated space dedicated to preserving the life and work of the renowned Scottish writer, artist, and polymath.
